double-tested for your protection, here are the rules for the ng:e drinking game. (note: yes, I know there are other, waaaay more complicated versions out there, but after you've had a few, who can keep track of all those rules? not I, virginia, not I.)

take a drink when:

• misato has a beer.
  
• asuka yells at someone/something.
  
• asuka calls someone "Dummkopf."
  
• shinji says he can't/won't do something. (2 drinks if he says he both can't and won't.)
  
• a new "super powerful" angel appears. (2 drinks)
  
• shinji calls misato "slob" or "lazy."
  
• someone speaks in techno-babble. (including "entry plug" and "AT field.")
  
• pen-pen appears. (2 drinks if he gets in shinji's way.)
  
• a river of blood appears.
  
• you see the image of shinji as a child crying.
  
• you see down any female character's shirt or up any female character's skirt.
  
• something doesn't make any damn sense.
  
• kaworu says something to shinji that could be considered a come-on.
  
• someone says that something is impossible or can't happen.
  
• rei dies.
  
• any character is naked.
  
• shinji says "I musn't run away."
  
• shinji's tape flips sides.

chug when:

• shinji actually shows some balls.
  
• someone/something is crucified.
  
• shinji is very happy.
  
• an angel doesn't appear to cause trouble.
  
• you feel that you truly understand the ending of the series.
  
• unit 1 goes berserker and eats that damn angel.
